NANQUANU’S EMERGING NETWORK

Nanquanu believes in leveraging historical knowledge and existing expertise by looking for synergy with other parties. Nanquanu does not have to re-invent the wheel. Its growing network already consists, among others, of the following people and organisations.

The Intelligent Systems Group of Utrecht University, amongst which its leader prof. dr. J.J.C. Meijer. One of the leading multi-agent research groups of the Netherlands.
The Learning Development Institute, amongst which its director dr. Jan Visser.
The University College Utrecht, in particular dr. Bas deFize. One of the liberal arts and sciences institutes in the Netherlands.
The Freudenthal Institute, amongst which Peter Boon and its director dr. Toine Pieters. A leading research institute in the area of formal and live science education for children and adolescents.
The Weekend School Amsterdam, amongst which its director drs. Heleen Terwijn.
An institute devoted to providing motivated, however less privileged, youngsters in-practice schooling.
Prof. dr. Ibo Poelman of the Technical University Delft, Centre for Ethics and Technology. Prof. Poelman does research in raising ethical awareness among technologists.
The Model Based Software Development of the Radboud University Nijmegen, amongst which its leader prof. dr. Rinus Plasmeijer. This is one of the leading programming language research groups in the Netherlands.

These relations intend to support Nanquanu with their expertise or network, among other things to collaborate in creating Coli-systems, raise funding, or to contribute in the learning process of Nanquanu’s apprentices

“I want participate in Nanquanu because it is an internet community, which focuses on the essence of every community, namely communication. Human society and human communication was the object of my study for many years. Now, I am a retired civil servant (born in 1947), still able to serve in a community. Be it as a sparring partner around ideas, be it for some practical work.

The photovar on my portrait symbolizes my passion. This is an idea to improve the communication between man and computer. My hope is that it becomes a subject for one of the coli’s in a near or a far future.”
